Padi, an Indonesian rock band originally named Soda, was founded in 1996. On April 8, 1997, while all members were students at Airlangga University in Surabaya, Indonesia, the band officially became Padi. The lineup includes Satrio Yudi Wahono, known as "Piyu" (lead guitar, backing vocals), Andi Fadly Arifuddin (lead vocals), Ari Tri Sosianto (guitar, backing vocals), Rindra Risyanto Noor (bass), and Surendro Prasetyo, aka "Yoyo" (drums).
